The Nawi – Afrifem Macroeconomics Collective (Nawi Collective) is a Pan-African initiative launched in 2020 and administratively and fiduciarily housed by the Tax Justice Network (Africa). The Nawi Collective is building a community in Africa of individuals and organisations working on
influencing, analysing, deconstructing and reconstructing macroeconomic policies, narratives and understanding of the same through a Pan African feminist lens. As part of this work, the collective will be working with a number of consultants to carry out the communications and outreach pillar of the collective, culminating in a series of outputs by the various consultants. Purpose of services requested/activities being undertaken Nawi works on a Pan-African Feminist deconstruction and reconstruction of macro-level
economic policies and narratives to include but not limited to trade (the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement – AfCFTA), sovereign debt, Tax Justice (from an Illicit Financial Flows perspective) and more. Nawi is looking for a creative content writer and researcher to take technical policy analyses and policy briefs of around 8-20 pages and synthesize 1-minute Instagram Reel and TikTok scripts
that our digital team can then use to produce short clips for different social media platforms.
