In this first instalment of a series of talks with scholars and activists across the region, Drs Mariama Williams and Michael Witter discuss the global economic position of the Caribbean and potential avenues for exploration to increase regional reliance. As the world grapples with the Novel Coronavirus and its tremendous impact, the Caribbean must contend with the question of how we chart a new path forward that ensures the safety of those who have been significantly affected.
