Thirty years as a development practitioner focussing on environmental issues and women’s economic empowerment. Now chairing a 54 member gender CSOs network in Malawi. Currently working on setting up a Gender and Energy platform in Malawi to consolidate women’s participation in energy investments with opportunities to start and grow female run businesses. I am also championing positive masculinity so that we can deal with toxic cultural practices that characterise women along social defined gender roles.
