I hold a Masters in Gender Analysis & Economics from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda, and B Sc. in Agric. Economics from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria. I have over 14 years of experience working on various development thematic such as Adolescent Reproductive Health & Rights, HIV/AIDS Prevention & Impact Mitigation, Reproductive Health for Conflict Affected Populations, Gender Mainstreaming, Gender Based Violence, Research Methodology, Policy, Community and Institutional Strengthening. Coupled with my experience working on project sites in various rural and urban communities. These have further enhanced my capabilities to cope with emerging issues in policy formulation & implementation, CSOs engagement and sustainable development programming.
I possess certification in many international and national developmental trainings such as ToT on Gender Responsive Economic Policy (UN Africa Institute for Economic Development and Planning, Dakar, Senegal), Mainstreaming Gender in the World of Work (International Training Center of the ILO, Turin Italy), Sexual Health and AIDS prevention for Adolescents, (Ofri Training Center, Jerusalem, Israel), Managing Gender Issues in Health Care (Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur, India), Basic of Health Economics (World Bank Institute, Washington DC, USA) and Participatory Planning Monitoring and Evaluation (PPME) (Wageningen International, Netherlands), just to mention few.
I am currently facilitating health and other interventions for conflict affected populations in IDP camps and People Living with Disabilities in Abuja, Nigeria. Mentoring young people on leadership skills, career development, entrepreneur skills development, providing linkages to free online courses and funded studies (short courses & Postgraduate).
