Esther Tulisanyuka has 8 year’s progressive experience in extensive policy analytical skills and ability to diagnose and help develop solutions to economic problems through statistical and econometric analysis techniques. She has the ability to solve quickly relatively difficult problems/tasks. Esther has sound knowledge of principal sources of economic and social data since she is in charge of developing, maintaining and updating the macro-economic indicators/data bases on a quarterly basis. She is knowledge and experienced in conducting research, complex data analysis (using various data packages like STATA, EVIEWS, SPSS, CGE modelling, Microsoft Excel), reporting and also was part of research projects like the National and Mini Participatory Poverty Assessments (Mini PPAs) of Uganda as researcher and quality controller respectively, undertook macro-economic analysis for the Poverty Status Reports (2012 & 2014). Has working knowledge of the MAMS Model which was used in the macro framework of the National Development Plan (NDPI) In addition, Esther has a B.A in Economics Degree with a Post graduate degree in Economic Policy Management all from Makerere University Kampala. She has attended various trainings in the economics field including Macro economic forecasting by IMF, Outcomes-Based Monitoring and Evaluation Implementation from University of Pretoria, Technical Approaches for Conducting Impact Evaluation & Understanding Policies and Assessing their Impact both by World Bank, several trainings in data management and research in general.
