Ms. Josephine Nkurunziza is a Rwandan Feminist Economist with a passion for leveling socioeconomic strategies that give young women and girls opportunities to establish economic independence. Josephine’s experience of over 12 years in program management of girls and women’s issues has taken her to counsel non-profit organizations and government entities in girls and women’s programming. Currently Josephine is a consultant but starting her PhD at Rutgers The State University of New Jersey USA in September 2019. She has a Master’s degree in Gender Analysis in Economics from Makerere University, Kampala and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the National University of Rwanda.
