LESEGO MOSHIKARO is a young researcher with a keen interest development economics. Her main research areas are Socio-Economic Research and Surveys, Manufacturing, Policy Impact Assessment Studies, Research on Land Restitution and Programme Monitoring and Evaluations (M&E).

Lesego Moshikaro is a Master’s candidate in Commerce specialising in Development Economics at the University of Cape Town. She completed both her Honours degree in Economics and undergraduate degree majoring in Economics and Political Science and International Relations at Rhodes University.

Lesego has vast experience in community outreach and she is one of the founders of the Rotaract Societys Next Step Project – a project aimed at bridging the information gap between Grade 12 and university for high school learners in township schools. Her passion lies in developing innovative and sustainable solutions to socio-economic challenges facing Africa’s people, specifically young girls and women.
