Gender Issues

Mercy has been working at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics for the last 4 years, where her day-to-day work challenges her to seek to understand human decision making processes in different contexts and sectors. Working in a multicultural and workspace and engaging multifaceted staff and clients spurred an interest in understanding the complexities of diversity and inclusion and how systems and individual biases are formed. Though this interest is still at its infancy stages, she hopes to collaborate with other researchers and gain experience in this space – particularly in African context – to breed it to its full maturity.
