My name is Sanaa Mahmoud Ahmed Wagialla, is a 33st years old Sudanese citizen, I work as “Protection and Education Officer” at Sudanese Development Call Organization (NIDAA) since February 2012 till now, with main duties and responsibilities including drafting proposals, supervising projects’ implementation, reporting and monitoring; also it includes representing the organization at the donor meeting in particular UN and partners meetings. I have been awarded M.Sc. degree in Gender and peace Studies from “Regional Institute of Gender, Diversity, Peace and Rights” of Ahfad University for Women in 2011. As part of my M.Sc, I have studied the historical background of the feminist movement, gender and media, gender and global challenge, gender and environment, Conflict and Population Mobility, political economy of armed conflict, conflict prevention, conflict resolution, human rights and democracy in the middle east and Africa, research methodology and has completed the course with internship at International NGO. I have been awarded B.Sc. Home Science (Pre School – Special Education) Faculty of Education University of Khartoum 2008. And have practiced my career for about 8 years which gave me good knowledge in the field of education and the disability. I have co-founded Altahadi Center for Children with disability in 2010. I have been part of many activists institutions and volunteered in many NGOs, as during my undergraduate studies at Khartoum university, I volunteered to work as the “Information officer” at Home Science department association , also I was a member of Khartoum University Student Union. I have built excellent experience in the field of development since I worked as a volunteer in different organizations either national or international that made me in touch with many development actors and different communities in and outside Sudan, this experience has opened my mind to the importance of the international cooperation in advocating for human rights and prosperity.
