I hold a Masters degree from our local University. I have worked extensively both in government and private sector, in the financial sector. As an ardent believer of how trade as a tool can turn around economies,empowering women , creating wealth for them in the process, I have become an activist for women empowerment through trade.I have successfully lobbied my government to ratify the recent Continental FreeTrade Area and continue to lobby for Trade Agreements to reflect a gender dimension by engaging the ex ante gender tool box. I sit on a number of boards and I am a Past President of the International Rotary Club of Bulawayo. My book ‘Who will Feed My Birds was nominated for a national award while the second one has been considered to be adopted for a movie.
