Lyla Latif moderated the Committee on Fiscal Studies weekly webinar series bringing together a multidisciplinary panel to discuss the considerations to be taken into account when adopting fiscal and social protection policies as well as their potential impact from a developing country perspective. Thus, flanking measures that can be taken by governments to support the informal sector, the health sector, the agricultural sector, SMEs as well as social security. The discussion further focused on the impact and potential usefulness of these measures both during and after the pandemic.
