I am a young African woman working with the government to empower women economically through access to affordable financing, capacity building and linkages with like-minded organizations. I am currently based in an Arid and Semi-Arid regions where the main economic activity is livestock keeping. Through my interactions with our clients, I have realized livestock keeping is a very risk venture due to the changes in climatic conditions. I am interested in understanding how best to make this lifestyle sustainable or provide solutions through alternative means of livelihood
